Dexter Russell 30505 12" Sharpening Steel W/ Black Plastic Handle, Carbon Steel

Designed to realign the microscopic segments on knife blades that have frayed over time, the Dexter Russell 30505 honing steel stands up the rolled-over edge of the blade to eliminate dullness. This tool extends the time required between sharpenings so operators don't remove as much material from the blade. Durable enough to support heavy use, this honing steel has a DEXSTEEL® rod, and the handle is constructed of comfortable-to-grip polypropylene.
