Forced air from the evaporator flows under the pan section in this Beverage Air SPE60HC-08 Elite Series® prep table, keeping ingredients above freezing and below 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Sixth-size, 4-inch-deep pans are included; they are covered by insulated lid and hood assemblies that retain cold air. On the front of the unit, a 10-inch-deep cutting board runs along the length, so employees can prep ingredients and make salads and sandwiches.

The refrigerated base section in this Beverage Air SPE60HC-08 prep table maintains temperatures from 36 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. It provides additional storage space on four epoxy-coated wire shelves and has a corrosion-resistant aluminum liner. Field-reversible doors enable the operator to choose which side the hinge is on, and they are removable for cleaning. Since the doors have a self-closing design, they keep cold air in the cabinet. Employees can easily load product into the base with the 120-degree stay-open door feature.
