The Beverage Air SPED48HC-08-4 prep table has a stainless steel and galvanized steel exterior that is resistant to damage. Its hood and lid assembly are also made of stainless steel to match the rest of the exterior. Up to eight pans can be stored in the top compartment, and it comes with eight 4-inch-deep, sixth-size pans. Pans up to 6 inches deep can also be stored in the four pull-out drawers.

The Beverage Air SPED48HC-08-4 prep table has stainless steel drawer frames that are supported by telescoping slides. Their locking design prevents staff from accidently pulling the drawers out of the cabinet. Its refrigeration system is serviceable from the rear. Recirculated forced air from the evaporator provides even and efficient cooling. The system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to maintain cold temperatures.
