The Beverage Air SPED48HC-12M-2 prep table features a stainless and galvanized steel exterior that provides durability and simple cleanup. The interior is lined with aluminum to support high volume use. Its rear-mounted refrigeration system allows the unit to be placed beside walls or equipment. An epoxy-coated evaporator oil helps prevent corrosion. When the refrigeration system needs to be serviced, the unit's 6-inch casters provide mobility.

The top compartment in the Beverage Air SPED48HC-12M-2 prep table accommodates 12 sixth-size, 4-inch pans. Forced air cools this section by circulating cold air under the pans, keeping the product within a safe temperature range. Pull-out drawers in the front can be used for additional storage. The drawer frames are constructed of stainless steel and have telescoping slides for support. Drawers are kept from being accidentally pulled out of the cabinet with the locking mechanism.

Shelves in the door compartment are made of durable steel wire with a corrosion-resistant epoxy coating. The door is self-closing and has a stay-open design that allows the door to remain open at a 120-degree angle, making it easy to load and unload product. Food preparation can be done on the 10-inch-deep cutting board. The board can be removed for efficient cleaning.
