The Beverage Air SPED72HC-12-2 prep table has a top opening that holds 12 sixth-size, 4-inch-deep pans, which are included with the unit. The stainless steel hood and lid assembly that sit over the top opening are designed to protect the ingredients from contamination and temperature loss. A 10-inch-deep cutting board runs along the front of the unit to provide a workspace for food preparation. The stainless steel and galvanized steel construction provide a strong and durable cabinet exterior. Its interior has an aluminum lining for resisting corrosion.

The Beverage Air SPED72HC-12-2 prep table has a rear-mounted refrigeration system that recirculates forced air under the pans for consistent cooling. It uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to produce the cold temperatures, and its self-closing doors prevent cool air from escaping the cabinet. The doors stay open at a 120-degree angle, enabling easy loading and unloading. Each door compartment comes with two steel wire shelves that have an epoxy coating to resist corrosion. Its two pull-out drawers have stainless steel frames for strength with locking slides that keep the drawers from being pulled completely out of the cabinet.
