The Beverage Air SPED72HC-18C-2 prep table holds 18 sixth-size, 4-inch-deep pans in its two top openings. These pans are included and, for durability, they are made of polycarbonate. The stainless steel hood and lid assembly work to protect items stored in the pans from contamination while sealing cold air inside. Cold air in the pan compartments is provided by forced air that moves under the pans. The self-contained refrigeration system is rear mounted, making the unit ideal for use next to other equipment and walls. It uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is more environmentally friendly than traditional refrigerants.

The Beverage Air SPED72HC-18C-2 prep table has a stainless and galvanized steel exterior and aluminum interior. With this heavy-duty construction, the unit withstands use in commercial settings. There are two pull-out drawers for storing 6-inch deep pans. The drawers have durable stainless steel frames and telescoping slides that lock to keep them from being pulled out of the cabinet inadvertently. The door compartments have two steel wire shelves each, which are coated in epoxy to resist corrosion. The doorsa€™ self-closing design helps to eliminate energy waste, while the 120-degree angle stay-open design facilitates loading and unloading the compartments.
