The True TMC-58-S-DS-HC milk cooler can accommodate 16 standard milk crates, which are reinforced by floor racks because these crates get heavy when filled with milk cartons. For additional support, the floor is also reinforced, while doors are integrated into both sides of the cooler for milk access from either side, ideal for serving two cafeteria lines simultaneously. Each side has a set of doors, with one flipping up and one dropping down, and these doors are made of heavy-duty stainless steel and have locks to secure cartons.

Fans in the True TMC-58-S-DS-HC milk cooler evenly move cold air throughout the cabinet, as this forced-air design ensures air is cold enough to maintain the set temperature. Operators can set the temperature as low as 33 degrees Fahrenheit or as high as 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and this level is shown on the exterior so users can keep track of it. An environmentally friendly alternative to traditional refrigerants, this unit uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.

Designed to help maintain a clean condensing coil surface, the reverse condensing fan motor blows in an opposite direction for 20 seconds when the compressor is turned on, removing debris. Working alongside preventive maintenance practice, this mechanism helps reduce the coil's energy consumption while keeping products cool. Improved coil function can also elongate overall unit performance.
