For accurate temperature adjustments, the Cleveland KDL-40-SH steam kettle includes solid-state controls. It's fully steam jacketed for quick and even heating when it's filled to the brim. Great for cooking large batches of chili, stew, and soup, it features a 40-gallon capacity. Because of its direct steam design, it must be connected to an external boiler for use, eliminating the need for gas and electric connections. This type of unit also operates using a large amount of condensate, so it includes a condensate drain valve to facilitate cleaning.

The Cleveland KDL-40-SH steam kettle can be emptied without tilting or spillage using a 2-inch tangent draw-off valve. To separate solids and liquids, it also includes a drain strainer. Its spring-assist cover is rotatable to facilitate access from any direction. This unit is made of durable stainless steel, which won't rust, corrode, warp, or dent. Positioned on adjustable flanged feet, its tri-leg base can be stabilized on uneven floors and bolted down for security.
