Cleveland KDL-60 60 gal Steam Kettle - Stationary, 2/3 Jacket, Direct Steam
The Cleveland KDL-60 steam kettle is built with a drain valve that removes excess condensate; the valve has an insulated handle to reduce the risk of burns. A direct steam unit, this kettle must be hooked to an external boiler that pumps steam into the two-thirds kettle jacket. This method provides even heating without hot or cold spots, and it doesn’t require electric or gas connections. With its 60-gallon capacity, it's great for cooking batches of chili, soup, and stew in an institution, cafeteria, or restaurant. To help users fill the kettle with water, it includes a mounting bracket for faucet installation.
The spring-assist cover on the Cleveland KDL-60 stationary steam kettle is rotatable for access from any direction. To draw broth or soup from the kettle without tilting the unit or making messes, it's equipped with a 2-inch tangent draw-off valve, which includes a strainer to separate solid food from liquids. The unit is positioned on an open tri-leg base with adjustable flanged feet to provide stability and security. Made of stainless steel, the exterior is durable and rust resistant.
