Cleveland KDL-80 80 gal Steam Kettle - Stationary, 2/3 Jacket, Direct Steam
With its 80-gallon capacity, the Cleveland KDL-80 steam kettle can be used to serve large batches of broth, soup, and stew. Its mounting bracket enables faucet installation to provide water for the kettle, which can then be used to produce a two-thirds steam jacket for even heating with no hot or cold spots. Due to its direct steam design, it must be attached to an external boiler instead of electrical or gas connections. Its exterior is made of stainless steel, which provides enough strength to suit it for repeated commercial use.
The Cleveland KDL-80 stationary steam kettle comes with a drain strainer to separate solid food from liquids. To serve finished product, it has a 2-inch tangent draw-off valve that draws broths and soups from the kettle. A drain valve helps remove condensation while a steam control valve enables adjustments for the steam levels. For safety, the handle of the drain valve is insulated to reduce the risk of burns. Positioned on adjustable feet, this unit can be stabilized on uneven floors and surfaces.
