The kettle's 150-gallon capacity accommodates large batches of pasta, stew, soup, gravy, and rice, while its two-thirds steam jacket heats product uniformly. A spring-assisted cover secured to the top of the kettle protects product from contaminants while preserving heat. Excess liquid can be drained via the 2-inch-diameter draw-off valve to achieve the desired consistency and taste.

Supported by an open, tri-leg base, the Cleveland KDL150 steam kettle is a floor unit.
