Cleveland KDL40T 40 gal Steam Kettle - Manual Tilt, 2/3 Jacket, Direct Steam
The Cleveland KDL40T steam kettle can be tilted manually with a hand crack to empty its contents after they're cooked. This tilting mechanism is permanently lubricated to reduce maintenance and is self-locking to secure it while contents are removed. Soups, stews, and broths are poured from the kettle with a high-capacity pouring lip to distribute food to customers, students, and other large groups of people. It can be cleaned with a condensate drain valve, which is equipped with an insulated handle that stays cool to the touch.
The open tri-leg base on the Cleveland KDL40T tilting skillet is positioned on flanged feet that can be bolted down and adjusted for security and stability. It must be connected to an external boiler due to its direct steam design, eliminating the need for electric and gas connections. To heat the contents evenly without hold or cold spots, it produces a two-thirds steam jacket. With its stainless steel exterior finish, this unit is durable and resistant to rusting and corroding. It accommodates 40 gallons and measures 41 5/8 inches wide by 34 3/4 inches deep by 36 7/8 inches high.
