Using a three-horsepower, hydraulic-powered agitator and scraper, product is evenly mixed and removed from the jacketed surface. Depending on product thickness, the scraper’s speed is adjustable between 0 and 40 rotations per minute, while the agitator automatically rotates from zero to eight times the scraper’s speed. This unit has a two-thirds steam jacket that evenly distributes heat throughout product to reduce the risk of cold spots. A safety mechanism prevents high-speed starts that could damage product quality, and for user safety, mixing automatically stops when the bridge is lifted.

For bustling kitchen environments, this Cleveland MKDL150T mixer kettle’s exterior is made of strong stainless steel while the interior has a 316 stainless steel construction that withstands damage from acidic products. For precision, gallon markings are integrated inside the scraper shaft.
