The Vulcan K12ETT countertop steam kettle has a large, 12-gallon capacity and internal markings to measure its current fill level. If a faucet is mounted to the provided bracket, staff members can add water to the interior without carrying buckets to the unit. Staff can turn it on with the power switch and adjust the heat levels with the rotary knob. This steam kettle cooks with a hollow jacketa€”containing water, antifreeze, and rust inhibitorsa€”around the lower two thirds of the unit. When the jacket heats up, the water turns to steam that cooks food evenly and efficiently.

After cooking, staff members can tilt this Vulcan K12ETT tilting steam kettle to empty out its contents. The butterfly-shaped pour lip streams product into a pan without food splatter. The legs of the base can be bolted to the counter for stability and, for water protection, controls are housed in a sealed box on the side. A tilt lock secures the kettle at a 100-degree angle so staff members can wipe out its stainless steel interior.
