The Continental Refrigerator SWF48N-U undercounter freezer has two spring-loaded doors that close on their own if an employee accidentally leaves one open. To reduce the risk of cold air escaping the cabinet, they seal shut with magnetic gaskets, and if the temperature does change, an alarm will sound to notify of harmful rises or drops. If users want to adjust the temperature, this unit has electronic controls, and for monitoring, operators can read the number on the digital display.

The self-contained refrigeration system of the Continental Refrigerator SWF48N-U commercial freezer is located in the back for maintenance access, and to reach the compressor, users can roll the unit away from the wall on its mounted-on plate casters. Cooling the unit, the freezer uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is both highly efficienct and safe for the environment. Built to withstand repeated use, the top, front, and ends are made of stainless steel, and the back and interior are made of aluminum.
