To accommodate undercounter installation in kitchens with limited space, the Hoshizaki EUF27A commercial freezer measures 27 inches wide by 31¹/₄ inches deep by 33³/₄ inches tall. Its stainless steel exterior front, sides, and top provide long-term rust and corrosion resistance and can complement other pieces of back-of-house equipment. To ease product insertion and removal, its solid, right-hinged door provides a 22³/₅-inch-wide by 22³/₄-inch-tall opening, and when these doors are fully open, they remain in place. When it's partially open, it self-closes to reduce energy loss, and to accommodate kitchens with specific layouts, its hinge can be reversed in the field. This freezer is fitted with 4-inch casters, two of which include brakes for stability during use.

The Hoshizaki EUF27A undercounter freezer's interior floor is made of stainless steel, while its sides, rear, and top are made of corrosion-resistant, simple-to-clean aluminum. For prepared ingredients or premade meals, its 22-inch-wide by 16-inch-deep shelf can support 105 pounds. Coated with gray epoxy, this piece resists corrosion and is durable enough for long-term storage. To accommodate revolving inventory, it can be adjusted in ¹/₂-inch increments. By using eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, its self-contained, rear-mounted refrigeration system can maintain temperatures between -5 and 5 degrees Fahrenheit in ambient temperatures between 45 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
