The Continental RA43N-U undercounter refrigerated base combines durability and compact functionality for commercial kitchens with limited space. Built with a 300-gauge stainless steel top, stainless steel front and end panels, and a corrosion-resistant aluminum interior, the unit is built for heavy-duty use. It features a 12-cubic-foot interior with one heavy-duty epoxy-coated steel shelf and a self-closing full-height door, complemented by a small access door for convenient access to stored items. Two inches of polyurethane foam insulation enhance temperature retention and structural support, while polished chrome handles and Santoprene™ magnetic snap-in gaskets ensure secure and efficient operation.

The Continental RA43N-U refrigerated base's side-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system provides consistent and efficient cooling. Designed with a forced-air system, an expansion valve, and a plasticized fin evaporator coil, it ensures precise temperature regulation. This system includes an automatic hot gas condensate evaporator and off-cycle defrost for minimal maintenance. The use of eco-friendly R290 refrigerant supports sustainable operation, while the electronic controller located within the unit allows for precise temperature adjustments. Fully enclosed, vented, and removable rear and side grills ensure easy cleaning and maintenance access.
