Despite its two-section configuration, the Hoshizaki EUR48A commercial refrigerator measures 30 inches deep by 33³/₄ inches high€”the same as the Economy-series single-section unit. This 47³/₄-inch-wide unit can be installed beneath a counter to accommodate kitchens with limited space, and to endure high-volume use, the exterior's front, sides, and top are made of resilient, rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel. This metal is simple to wipe clean between uses and complements existing pieces of back-of-house equipment. When cleaning or maintenance is required, its 4-inch casters provide smooth mobility, and two of these casters include brakes for stability.

While the Hoshizaki EUR48A Economy undercounter refrigerator's interior floor is made of stainless steel, its front, walls, and rear are aluminum. Both sections provide a total of 12.09 cubic feet of space, and the two heavy-duty, epoxy-coated gray shelves support 105 pounds each. The shelves can be raised or lowered in ¹/₂-inch increments to accommodate revolving inventory, and because both sections' doors remain in place when fully opened, staff can load and retrieve products with ease. When partially opened, these solid stainless steel doors self-close to minimize energy loss. This unit's self-contained, rear-mounted refrigeration system operates with environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to generate temperatures from 33 to 39 degrees Fahrenheit. Its innovative air distribution system evenly guides air through the cabinet to minimize warm and cool spots.
