Sporting two sections, the Hoshizaki UR48B reach-in refrigerator offers 12-cubic-feet of space beneath the countertops in preexisting commercial kitchen layouts. Its stainless steel construction is durable and corrosion resistant, even extending to the two doors along the front. The doors and cabinet space are insulated to maintain a set temperature between 32 and 52 degrees Fahrenheit, and the unit includes one adjustable shelf per section. To assist staff members, these field-reversible doors stay open at 90 degrees and automatically shut at lesser angles. Additionally, four 4-inch casters are attached along the bottom to facilitate placement.

The Hoshizaki UR48B undercounter refrigerated storage box includes rear-mounted refrigeration and a well-designed circulation system that work together to achieve consistently cold environments. Self-contained to maximize space, this unit's refrigeration features an evaporator to remove hot gas condensate and eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant that expels hot air from the storage space. As both components work together, the air becomes much colder and circulates with the developed distribution system. These moving parts are subjected to off-cycle defrosts to maintain functionality and the evaporator coil is enamel coated to survive consistent use.
