Part of the Steelheart series, the Hoshizaki UR48B-LPD2 two-section undercounter refrigerator is a durable cabinet ideal for commercial locations looking to expand cool storage to preparation stations. Overall, this unit measures 48 inches wide by 31 inches deep by 31⁹/₁₀ inches high and is made of stainless steel. To accommodate various items, the cabinet is divided via a solid, self-closing door and two slide-out drawers, each equipped with recessed aluminum handles and magnetic gaskets.

Positioned at the rear of the Hoshizaki UR48B-LPD2 low-profile refrigerated cabinet is its self-contained refrigeration system, which works to cool the interior as dictated by the dial controller settings. For safe and efficient operation, the system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The removable, nonelectric evaporator system utilizes an off-cycle defrost system and E-coated coils to ensure a long operating life.
