The doors and drawers in the True TUC-48D-2-HC undercounter refrigerator are fitted with 12-inch-long recessed handles, foamed in place with a sheet metal interlock to ensure permanent attachment. It has a magnetic drawer and one-piece door gaskets that can be removed without tools to facilitate cleaning. The heavy-duty, stainless steel drawer slides and rollers are also removable without tools.

The positive-seal doors have self-closing and 90-degree stay-open features and swing within the cabinet dimensions. The entire cabinet structure, solid door, and drawer facings are foamed in place with high-density polyurethane insulation. Locks are equipped on the front set of the 5-inch-diameter stem castors. The work surface height measures 36 inches.

This True TUC-48D-2-HC undercounter refrigerator operates at a set temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Operators can set this level to suit their application. Guided airflow in the unit ensures the temperature is even throughout the cabinet. The refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant€”more environmentally friendly than traditional refrigerants. The compressor's fan motor runs in reverse for a 20-second period at the start of each cycle. This blows away any dust, debris, or dirt that's built up on the coil. When used alongside routine preventive maintenance, this feature helps improve efficiency and lengthen the unit's lifespan.
