The Vulcan VIR1SF upright broiler is a two-deck unit with a broiling system on its top level and a standard oven base. Measuring 36 inches wide by 42 5/8 inches deep by 77 1/8 inches high, its front, front top ledge, sides, base, stub back, and top have a stainless steel construction to withstand back-to-back, daily wear. Inside the oven, porcelain is integrated into the bottom, side, and indoor panel to streamline cleaning, as its smooth surface is easy to wipe clean. Heated by LP gas, it has a 1 1/4-inch rear gas connection and a 1 1/4-inch-diameter front gas manifold. To ensure stability throughout operation, it's supported on 6-inch stainless steel legs.
The cooking grid on the Vulcan VIR1SF upright broiler's top deck is made of cold-rolled steel bars, creating appetizing grill lines and improving heat conductivity for uniform heating results. Its grid can be raised or lowered in five different positions and has a spring-balanced design. This section is heated by four infrared burners; users can adjust their output with two infinite heat controls. Beneath the grid, a floating stainless steel drip pan collects leftover grease and food particles for swift removal and cleaning. Good for use as a finishing oven, the oven on the bottom deck has a 27-inch-wide by 27-inch-deep by 13-inch-high structure, and its temperature can be adjusted from 150 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit.
