Manitowoc Ice AR-40000-P Arctic Pure™ Plus Primary Water Filter Assembly - 40,000 gal Capacity

The Manitowoc AR-40000-P Arctic Pure™ Plus water filter can be used with cube, flake, or nugget ice makers that produce between 1,001 and 2,500 pounds of ice per day. In total, it can filter 40,000 gallons of water before it needs to be replaced. To enhance ice quality, taste, and appearance, this unit reduces chlorine by 95 percent from the incoming water supply. It provides triple protection against contaminants with its carbon block, slowly soluble polyphosphate (SLOW PHOS™), and ultra-fine filtration. While the antimicrobial silver-impregnated carbon block inhibits growth of mold, slime, microorganisms, and algae on ice maker surfaces, the SLOW PHOS minimizes scale accumulation and corrosion. Because it has a 0.5-micron rating, it can reduce direct, submicron particles, cryptosporidium, and giardia cysts.

The Manitowoc AR-40000-P premium water filter should be installed every 6 months or when the pressure gauge shows a readout before 35 PSI. It's designed to operate with a maximum service flow rate of 2 gallons per minute and at ambient temperatures between 40 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit and water temperatures between 40 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. For simple installation, it can be quickly changed out without turning off the water supply. This 4¹³/₁₀₀-inch-wide by 4¹²/₂₅-inch-deep by 19⁷/₁₀-inch-tall piece includes a head, shroud, hardware, mounting assembly, and filter cartridge.
