3M Cuno CFSM1254 Water Softener W/ Electronic Metered Time Clock, Reduces Hardness

To increase energy efficiency and reduce maintenance, the 3M® Cuno CFSM1254 water softener system helps reduce scale buildup and water hardness. It uses ion-exchange resin to prevent scale collection, so the filtration system doesn't become damaged over time while improving water quality. Able to hold 135 pounds of salt, it includes a safety salt brine valve to prevent brine overflow, and a built-in salt support shelf prevents sticky salt buildup. Made of thermoplastic, the control valve connects to the tank with threaded connections. The brine tank, made of high-density polyethylene, includes an air-check assembly to promote safe use. At peak flow rate, it can filter through 11 gallons per minute and maintains a 9-gallon-per-minute service flow rate. It has a 56,800-grain maximum capacity to increase the amount of water softening.
