The Continental Refrigerator SWF48N-FB worktop freezer is insulated with 2 inches of polyurethane foam to retain cold air and keep energy costs low. Preventing air from leaking out, the self-closing doors have magnetic gaskets to provide a tight seal. If the temperature drops or rises without notice, an alarm will sound to inform nearby employees. To adjust the temperature, this unit has electronic controls, and a digital display provides an accurate level readout for monitoring.

The self-contained refrigeration system in the Continental Refrigerator SWF48N-FB commercial freezer cools with environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. For maintenance access, the compressor is located in the back, and for mobility, the freezer is mounted on 3³/₄-inch casters. This unit has an automatic evaporator that eliminates condensation and an automatic defrost feature that removes excess ice.
