The Hoshizaki WF27B worktop freezer is constructed of stainless steel and sits on heavy-duty casters that limit physical strain when maneuvering the unit around the kitchen. Because it's made of durable and corrosion-resistant stainless steel, it can withstand frequent use in high-volume environments. The compact freezer is 27 inches wide by 31 inches deep by 40 inches high and doubles as both storage space and a worksurface.

The one-section freezer has a stainless steel cabinet protected by a solid door to retain cold air. The black aluminum handle mounted to the door sits flush to prevent jutting out into kitchen walkways. The door features a unique stepped design that protects the gasket from rough use and prevents the seal from being broken. The cabinet is equipped with a single epoxy-coated shelf that can be moved up and down in ¹/₂-inch increments to meet evolving storage needs. To prevent food items from falling behind it, the smooth worktop features a backsplash.

The Hoshizaki WF27B one-section worktop freezer uses a rear-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system that enables the internal temperature to be set between -10 and 10 degrees Fahrenheit in ambient kitchen temperatures as high as 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The evaporator coil is epoxy coated and undergoes an off-cycle defrost to remove any ice buildup. For an efficient, eco-friendly design, this unit utilizes R290 refrigerant.
