To add ingredients and monitor product, the Accutemp E62401D060SGL convection steamer's door can be opened during the cooking cycle. The front of the door includes instructions in both English and Spanish while the side panel has a temperature display and digital controls for adjustment. Lights indicate if the temperature gets too high or if the water levels severely fluctuate; an automatic shut-off feature turns off the unit to prevent the heating elements from being melted. Its cavity is made of stainless steel to facilitate cleaning.

The Accutemp E62401D060SGL six-pan convection steamer accommodates six full-size pans that measure 2¹/₂ inches deep. Its wire racks facilitate airflow through the openings for uniform heating. The oven is mounted to a stand to elevate it to a comfortable working height, and for mobility, the stand is mounted on casters.
