The Advance Tabco FMSLAG-243-X work table has a 16-gauge stainless steel top and an 18-gauge stainless steel undershelf. Lower gauges of steel are thicker than higher gauges, so the top is more durable than the shelf and is safe for prep equipment. The top is made of 304 series stainless steel, meaning it's composed of 8 percent nickel, which is highly resistant to corrosion from acidic or salty food. It's sound deadened to reduce noise production, while its rear upturn keeps spills off the wall.

Except for a rolled front that eliminates sharp edges, this Advance Tabco FMSLAG-243-X work table's sides are squared to line up flush with walls and equipment. Its undershelf is adjustable, so operators can raise and lower it to accommodate various items. This unit is TIG welded, meaning tungsten electrodes were used to heat the metal and produce the weld. All welded seams are polished to blend in with connecting surfaces.
