The Advance Tabco TFMSLAG-304 work table has an open base with a 7-cubic-foot top that is constructed of 16-gauge, 304 series stainless steel and sound deadened to reduce noise. Composed of 18 percent chromium and 8 percent nickel, 304 series stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance, which means that it can be used with acidic and salty foods without damage. This 16-gauge steel is thicker and more durable than higher gauges. The unit has stainless steel legs with stainless steel bullet feet that adjust to keep the unit balanced on uneven floors.

The 1⁵/₈-inch square edges enable flush installation against walls, while a 1⁵/₈-inch rolled rim on the front reduces sharp edges. The 1¹/₂-inch backsplash on the rear protects walls from stains and messes. Two galvanized hat channels are stud welded underneath the top for leveling and reinforcement. The Advance Tabco TFMSLAG-304 work table has been TIG welded, so it has a smooth, clean finish. TIG welding is a type of arc weld that melts metal and creates seamless welds by using tungsten electrodes.
