Operators can adjust this single-drawer Alto-Shaam 600-1D warming unit's holding temperatures from 60 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit with its up and down arrows, and these temperatures can be managed with its temperature display button and digital display. This unit uses Halo Heat®a€”a controlled heat source that surrounds foods uniformly with low, minimal-intensity heat for long-term holding. Although this technology doesn't use water, it prevents contents from drying out with its lack of harsh heating elements.

For low-volume holding, the Alto-Shaam 500-1D warming drawer accommodates a 12-inch by 20-inch by 6-inch stainless steel pan on its removable stainless steel drawer rail supports. This drawer can also be adapted to hold an oversized food pan. Made of nonmagnetic stainless steel, it resists rust, corrosion, and wear from daily use. This unit measures 24⁵a"₈ inches wide by 25⁷a"₈ inches deep by 11⁵a"₈ inches high for countertop placement. To maximize holding and save counterspace, this warmer can also be stacked with similarly sized units.
