The Bakers Pride 253 Superdeck triple-deck pizza oven is powered by natural gas and has a 180,000-BTU outputa€”more than the same configuration in the Bakers Pride Stubby-Shallow series. To bake pizzas with different cooking temperatures simultaneously, all three 36-inch-wide by 34.5-inch-deep by 8-inch-high baking compartments feature independently controlled top and bottom heat dampers. Using the corresponding thermostatic controls, staff can modify each deck's temperatures from 300 to 650 degrees Fahrenheit. To achieve crispy crusts, the compartments include 1.5-inch-thick Cordierite decks that absorb moisture and heat evenly, and employees can monitor gas pressure with the gas valve, regulator, and pilot safety.

Only 10 inches deeper than the Stubby-Shallow series units, the Bakers Pride 253 pizza deck oven measures 48 inches wide by 43 inches deep by 81.75 inches high. This stainless and aluminized steel unit resists corrosion and is built with a heavy-duty angle-iron frame that's strong enough to endure rigorous use. Each deck features a corresponding spring-balanced door to ease pizza insertion and removal, and the unit is fully insulated to retain generated heat. So operators can thoroughly clean beneath it, it's positioned on 6-inch steel legs finished with Bakertone paint.
