The Beverage Air FB23HC-1S one-section reach-in freezer keeps temperatures at and below 0 degrees Fahrenheit through R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. This refrigerant type is more environmentally friendly than traditional options. Low temperatures will cause condensation to freeze on the refrigeration components and damage them if it is not removed. To eliminate buildup, the unit has an automatic defrost system, and because it is mounted at the bottom, the refrigeration system operates in the coolest area in the kitchen.

In the Beverage Air FB23HC-1S single-section reach-in freezer, three corrosion-resistant, coated shelves hold stored items. With their wire design, the shelves encourage airflow and keep cold air evenly distributed. Because the door is solid, it retains cold air better than a glass door, but it does not provide cabinet visibility. This door has a self-closing design that keeps cold air around the stored items, and when employees are loading product into the cabinet, the door can be opened past 120 degrees and stay open.
