The Beverage Air SPED72HC-10C-4 prep table has a cutout compartment that holds 10 sixth-size pans. Items in the pans are chilled by forced air to ensure they are in the food safe zone. There is a stainless steel hood and lid assembly to cover the opening, retaining cold air and protecting items from contaminants. Its exterior is made of stainless and galvanized steel, making it resistant to scratches and dents. The interior is lined with aluminum to facilitate cleaning. Items can be prepared on the 17-inch-deep cutting board, which is made of polyethylene for durability.

The Beverage Air SPED72HC-10C-4 prep table has a self-contained refrigeration system that is easy to install and service. Since the system is mounted in the rear, it reduces the risk of damage from floor debris or spills. Environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant is used to maintain cold temperatures. Four pull-out drawers in the cabinet base have durable stainless steel frames and locking slides that keep the drawers from being accidentally pulled out of the cabinet. Its single door compartment has two steel wire shelves that are coated to resist corrosion. The door is self-closing to keep cold air inside and makes loading product simple since it stays open past 120 degrees.
