Utilizing a variety of safety systems, the Bizerba GSPHI150-GCB meat and cheese slicer protects operators from injury while efficiently performing its duties. It features a thumb guard that measures 54/5 inches across and a debris deflector to keep food particles from escaping during use. Its push plate handle is clearly denoted with a green color to reduce the chance of confusion during use, and to see if the blade is still active, workers can check the front side indicator light. If this light is green, it's safe to clean, and if it's red, it hasn't finished spinning yet. The unit is meant to rest on a countertop and features a low-profile design measuring 2827/50 inches long by 231/20 inches wide by 233/8 inches high. This functionality is further supported by the unit's 6-foot cord.
Designed for cutting through gouda, pepperjack, and asiago, the blade of the Bizerba GSPHI150-GCB gravity feed slicer is specially grooved to reduce the risk of clogging as it cuts through cheese. The blade itself is chromium plated, while its edge is 60-62 Rockwell toughened to ensure heightened performance. Utilizing the units control panel, the blade can be adjusted allowing operators to cut slices as thick as 24 millimeters. For quick, simple blade maintenance, the unit comes with a remote sharpening unit that can lock onto the blade using its spring-loaded dial and sharpen it during use.
