Meant for slicing through turkey, ham, and roast beef, the Bizerba GSPHI90-GCB manual feed slicer utilizes a durable, seamless aluminum construction for its body and a chromium plating for its 13-inch blade. This blade also features a 60-62 Rockwell hardened edge that can stand up to thorough use, and it has specially designed grooves for slicing through cheese in addition to meat. Its motor utilizes a variable speed design to deliver three possible speed modes to accommodate different cuts of meat. Its carriage, angled at 25 degrees towards the operator, features a 40-degree gravity feed chamber that slowly pulls products toward its blade. To further assist this process, it features a sliding pusher plate that can be removed for cleaning purposes. It also features a shortened thumb guard that measures 3¹/₂ inches wide to keep operator's fingers far away from active blades; to reduce confusion, it has an indicator light that can tell users when the blade is still spinning: red means the blade is active, and green means it's safe to handle.

Built with usability in mind, the Bizerba GSPHI90-GCB deli slicer measures 28²⁷/₅₀ inches long by 23¹/₂₀ inches wide by 23³/₈ inches high; it features four legs that ensure the unit can fit directly on a countertop in view of customers. It has a low-profile design that eases product loading. To reduce confusion and ease operation, its handles are color coded for functionality, and it has a front-facing panel to regulate blade speed. For maintaining blade quality, the unit ships with a blade sharpener that can be locked onto the blade and sharpen it without operator oversight.
