Utilizing a seamless anodized aluminum construction, the Vizerba GSPHIW-90 deli slicer is a durable piece of kitchenware designed to withstand frequent use in commercial kitchens. Its carriage is steeped at a 25-degree incline to simplify loading and holding product; its 40-degree feed chamber allows for cuts of meat to be gently pushed towards its 13-inch blade. The blade is coated in chromium and features a hardened 60-62 Rockwell edge. This blade can spin anywhere between 160 and 300 rotations per minute and can cut slices as thick as 24 millimeters. Both the speed and the size of the slice can be adjusted using the unit's front-facing panel. It also has a built-in scale, which can measure as much as 6³/₅ pounds of meat and informs the operator when a desired weight has been met. The permanently mounted debris deflector ensures no unwanted food particles collect on nearby surfaces, and when the blade is in need of maintenance, users can attach the spring-loaded blade sharpener.

Designed for countertop use, the Bizerba GSPHIW-90 safety slicer measures 31⁴/₅ inches long by 35⁷/₁₀ inches wide by 24⁴/₅ inches high and features an electrical cord measuring 6 feet long. This low profile results in fast loading and unloading of products; additionally, the unit rests on a series of rubber feet for secure placement while in use. When the machine needs to be cleaned, its pusher plate, which measures 12 inches wide by 10³/₂₅ inches deep, can be removed for simple cleaning.
