The Bon Chef 19041CH Elite chafer's transparent cover retains temperatures while providing a clear view of product. This 26⁷/₈-inch-wide by 19¹/₂-inch-deep by 18-inch-high rectangular unit holds 2 gallons of food and is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Chrome brass legs, medallions, and a handle accent the stainless steel structure to improve food presentation. The top can be adjusted to cover product fully or locked in a halfway position; a slow-down lock mechanism prevents it from slamming onto the bottom of the unit. To keep nearby surfaces dry, the water pan and cover resist dripping.
