Intended to be attached to a Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit's post, the Cambro CBA246064S4580 add-on shelving unit can be fastened to the starter unit with included traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges. To fit the allotted space, the add-on unit can be set up as an extension of the starter shelving unit, or it can be configured as a corner, U-shaped, or T-shaped unit. The four tiers of solid polypropylene shelf plates are best suited to support linens, small goods, and irregularly shaped product. These shelf plates can be positioned along the posts to accommodate variously sized items.

When loaded to its full capacity, the Cambro CBA246064S4580 add-on shelving unit supports 1,800 pounds. Its top shelf can hold 400 pounds, while each bottom shelf accommodates 600 pounds. Made of durable polypropylene, it can withstand temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit while resisting rust and corrosion, enabling use in freezers, coolers, dishrooms, dry storage, and warewashers. To maintain sanitary shelf surfaces, the shelf plates can be wiped clean or washed in a dishmachine for thorough cleaning.
