All four of the Cambro CBA214264S4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit's tiers have solid shelves intended to accommodate linens and small or irregularly shaped goods. Though each lower shelf can hold 600 pounds and the top shelf can support 400 pounds, this add-on unit shouldn't be loaded with more than 1,800 total pounds. Constructed of polypropylene, the shelves resist scrapes, rust, and corrosion to preserve their original brushed graphite color. Camguard® antimicrobial is integrated into the shelf plates, inhibiting bacterial growth that could cause stains and odor retention. To expedite shelf sanitization, they can be removed and cleaned in a dishwasher.

Traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included with the Cambro CBA214264S4580 add-on shelving unit so it can be affixed to a stationary starter shelving unit in U, T, or L shapes. Two composite posts capped with leveling feet ensure the unit is stable, even on irregular surfaces. For versatility, it can be stored in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, granting use in freezers, coolers, pantries, and dishrooms.
