The Cambro CBA244284VS4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit features one solid and three louvered shelf plates to grant more storage opportunities than shelving units with only solid or vented shelves. The solid shelf plate contains spills from leaking and is suited to support linens and small, irregularly shaped items, while the louvered shelves' gapped design promotes airflow across the shelves' surfaces to reduce dust and moisture accumulation in dry and humid storage areas. To ensure goods are stored on clean surfaces, the shelves can be wiped clean or washed in a dishmachine. The top shelf has a 400-pound capacity while each bottom shelf can support 600 pounds. No more than 1,800 pounds should be stored on this unit as a whole.

The add-on unit's brushed graphite look matches the starter unit for a blended appearance, and its polypropylene construction resists peeling and scratching to maintain its original color over time.
