It measures 42 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 72 inches high and is meant to be attached to a similarly sized Basics Plus starter shelving unit in U, T, or L shapes. Traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included to simplify setup. This adaptable add-on unit's polymer construction can endure cold and heat from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, so it's safe to store in freezers, coolers, pantries, and dishrooms. To prevent wobbling if installed on uneven flooring, leveling feet stabilize it.

Because the Cambro CBA244272VS4580 add-on shelving unit can support 1,800 pounds, it's ideal for storing heavy bagged and boxed goods and small pieces of equipment. The top shelf can hold 400 pounds, while each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity. So operators can store a diverse range of items, three shelves are vented, while one is solid. The vented shelves encourage airflow across their surfaces to reduce moisture and dust accumulation.
