The four tiers of the Cambro CBA184884S4580 polymer add-on shelf kit can accommodate 1,800 pounds overall. While the top shelf can hold as much as 400 pounds, the bottom three shelves accommodate 600 pounds. To hold leaky products and small items that could slip through the gaps of vented shelves, the shelf plates are solid and made of strong polypropylene for durability. Built with composite posts on leveling feet, this unit can be installed on irregular surfaces without wobbling.

For installation, the Cambro CBA184884S4580 solid add-on shelf kit comes with eight traverses and four bags of eight-count dovetails. To facilitate setup, the post connectors and wedges come pre-assembled, and the 48-inch-wide by 18-inch-deep by 84-inch-high structure comes in brushed graphite gray to match pre-existing shelving units and common kitchen themes. It's safe in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit for use in cold and warm areas.
