Meant to increase storage opportunities, the Cambro CBA214272V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit can be attached to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit in various configurations to fit crowded storage areas. To blend in with the original unit, it's brushed graphite gray, while its polypropylene construction resists peeling, scratching, rusting, and corroding to retain its original appearance. Designed to withstand temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, it's safe to store in steamy dishrooms, walk-in freezers, and dry storage pantries. Two composite posts support one side of the unit, and their leveling feet prevent wobbling when the unit is installed on sloped or uneven surfaces.

Ideal for storing boxed and bagged contents, the Cambro CBA214272V4580 add-on shelving unit has a maximum capacity of 1,800 pounds. While its top shelf can hold 400 pounds, the three lower shelves each have a 600-pound capacity. To eliminate dust formation and moisture buildup, air can flow through the shelves' vented surfaces, and these shelves are also treated with an antimicrobial protection agent to inhibit fungal and mold growth that otherwise could result in stains and odors. As the shelves become dirty, they can be cleaned in a commercial dishmachine.
