To expedite attachment to a Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit, the Cambro CBA244272V4580 add-on shelving unit includes preassembled post connectors and wedges, eight traverses, and four bags of eight dovetails. This unit can be joined to the starter unit in T-, L-, or U-shaped configurations to fit allotted storage space. Because its polypropylene construction can endure temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, it's safe to store in humid dishrooms, dry storage pantries, and walk-in coolers and freezers. Two composite posts capped with leveling feet balance the unit on uneven surfaces.

Though the Cambro CBA244272V4580 add-on shelving unit's top shelf accommodates 400 pounds and each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity, this unit shouldn't store more than 1,800 pounds overall. The four shelves are louvered so air can move through the slotted surfaces and circulate around stored product to eliminate dust and moisture in dry and humid storage spaces. To reduce risk of product damage, the polypropylene shelves resist rusting, corroding, peeling, and scratching. As the shelves become dirty, they can be wiped clean and washed in a dishmachine for convenient sanitization.
