With a maximum capacity of 1,800 pounds, the unit's bottom four shelves hold 600 pounds each, while the top shelf can accommodate 400 pounds. These shelves are made of polypropylene, which is durable for high-volume use and withstands temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit.

The shelves on the Cambro CBA184884VS5580 polymer add-on shelving unit can hold produce in a walk-in freezer or supplies in a warm kitchen area, and it sits on leveling feet that keep it from wobbling on irregular surfaces and uneven floors. For installation, it comes with 10 traverses and five bags of eight-count dovetails, and its post connectors and wedges are pre-assembled.
