This Cambro CBA243064V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit is intended to be affixed to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit in T, L, or U shapes, and it comes with traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges to expedite setup. For adaptability, two composite posts with leveling feet balance the add-on unit on irregular flooring. Due to its polypropylene construction, this unit endures temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, so it can be stored in humid dishrooms, dry storage pantries, and walk-in coolers and freezers. To match the starter shelving unit, its appearance is brushed graphite gray.

The top shelf of the Cambro CBA243064V4580 add-on shelving unit can support 400 pounds, while the three lower tiers can hold 600 pounds each. However, this unit shouldn't be loaded with more than 1,800 pounds. Each shelf plate is vented, so air can flow through the gapped surfaces and around product to eliminate moisture and dust accumulation. To ensure goods are stored on a sanitary surface, these shelves can be wiped clean or washed in a dishmachine as needed.
