With its five tiers, the Cambro CBA186072V5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit has a 1,800-pound capacity. The top shelf can support 400 pounds, while each of the four lower shelves has a 600-pound capacity. All the shelves are louvered, meaning airflow through their slots goes around product to eliminate moisture buildup and dust accumulation, maintaining clean storage space. An antimicrobial protection agent built into the surface slows bacterial growth that could cause odors and stains. When necessary, the shelf plates can be cleaned in a dishmachine.

Two composite posts and leveling feet stabilize the Cambro CBA186072V5580 add-on shelving unit on uneven flooring when it's secured to a stationary Basics Plus shelving unit. This unit comes with preassembled post connectors and wedges, 10 traverses, and five bags of eight dovetails so it can be attached to an existing unit in U, L, or T shapes. For a uniform look with the existing shelving unit, the add-on shelving unit has a brushed graphite appearance. Due to its polypropylene construction, it resists peeling, cracking, rusting, and corroding while withstanding temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit.
