For versatility, the Cambro CBA186084V5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit can be attached to a stationary Basics Plus shelving unit in L-, U-, or T-shaped configurations. Preassembled post connectors and wedges, traverses, and dovetails are included to streamline its setup; two composite posts with leveling feet support the add-on unit for stability on irregular surfaces. Due to its polypropylene construction, it can be stored in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, which means it's compatible with walk-in coolers, freezers, and dry pantries. It features a brushed graphite color to complement the original shelving unit. To maintain its sleek appearance over time, it resists peeling, corroding, rusting, and scratching.

The Cambro CBA186084V5580 add-on shelving unit's top shelf has a 400-pound capacity, while the three bottom shelves can hold 600 pounds each. Overall, it has a 1,800-pound capacity. The shelves' louvered designs promote airflow around product which minimizes dust and moisture accumulation. Camguard® antimicrobial protection molded into the shelf plates' surfaces inhibits microbial growth that otherwise could create malodors and stains. To maintain a sanitary surface, the shelves can be wiped clean and cleaned in a dishmachine when needed.
