To eliminate moisture and dust buildup, air can flow through the plates' slotted surfaces and around product. When the shelves are dirty, they're simple to wipe clean, and they can be washed in a dishmachine to reduce hands-on cleaning tasks. Though the top shelf has a 400-pound capacity, and the four lower shelves can support 600 pounds each, this add-on unit shouldn't be loaded with more than 1,800 pounds, overall, to prevent structural damage.

This Cambro CBA243084V5580 add-on shelving unit measures 30 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 84 inches high and can be affixed to a similarly sized Basics Plus starter shelving unit in U-, T-, or L-shaped configurations. Two composite posts with leveling feet provide support and stability on uneven surfaces, preventing the unit from rocking. Because it can endure temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, it's safe to store in warm dishrooms, walk-in coolers and freezers, and dry pantries. To preserve its uniform brushed graphite look over time, its polypropylene construction resists peeling, scratching, corroding, and rusting.
