The Cambro CBA213064V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit supports 1,800 pounds, overall; while the top shelf has a 400-pound capacity, the bottom shelves accommodate 600 pounds each. Despite their varying capacities, all shelves are vented so air can flow through their slots and around contents to eliminate moisture and dust. The shelf plates can be cleaned in a dishmachine, and to protect product between cleanings, molded-in antimicrobial agent inhibits bacterial spread.

Because the Cambro CBA213064V4580 add-on shelving unit doesn't have a stand-alone design, it must be affixed to a Basics Plus starter shelving unit. Preassembled post connectors and wedges, traverses, and dovetails are included to simplify installation; the add-on unit can be configured in U, L, or T shapes to fit storage areas with limited space. Safe for use in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, it can be stored in walk-in freezers, coolers, and pantries. For a uniform look, the add-on features a brushed graphite appearance, and its polypropylene construction resists rusting, corroding, peeling, and scratching.
